Great sporting stadium with terrific atmosphere for all the cricket matches attended over the years. The recent Hundred competition is great for kids to come along to as all over in about 3 hours with lots of entertainment including games and live music.
I would give ZERO star if I can! I’m a loyalty customer to Genting for the past years but this time the experience I had is outrageous! I forgot to bring my membership card with me so borrowed my boyfriend. When I was in reception the lady scanned my card and said it’s not yours then CUT MY BOYFRIEND’S CARD WITHOUT MY PERMISSION. This is appaling! I was appalled! Then I asked why she didn’t ask me at least explain it to me what is the regulation because I still can use my DOB and full name to get in anyway. Instead of apologizing, she rolled eyes to me and said I don’t need to explain to you, I can get another card if you need.
Played some black jack the dealers are friendly. Overall just not a nice atmosphere and everyone miserable
However, my experience was marred by the unprofessional behavior of the room supervisor. She barged into our room without knocking, and treated us like criminals. She did not apologize for her behavior, and I felt like my privacy had been violated. Barging into a guest's room without knocking is unacceptable, and it is a violation of the guest's right to privacy.
Everything about this hotel is superb. We needed a dog friendly hotel and it certainly is that. But that's not to say that any guests without dogs are aware of them as certain areas are understandably out of bounds to dogs.
First of all the game was great, if I'm reviewing the cricket it gets five stars. However the seats were cheap and uncomfortable, the food was expensive and cold, it seemed as though the music and flames were the main focus.
Hotel was lovely and the service was amazing for the most part Only stayed for one night but soon after arrival I informed front desk that my window was smudged and stained from top to bottom however they assured me someone would come and clean it within 24 hours.
Absolutely brilliant stay here over the weekend. Perfect location central for everything we had planned. For a city centre hotel there was no outside noise, bed was comfortable and staff friendly and polite. If you are staying near the bullring then this is the place to stay.
The hospitality is very good and the food taste really good. I love the secret garden restaurant. It has a bar restaurant as well which is accessible till early morning. I can say that it is one of the best Hyatt hotels I have stayed or visited.
Marvellous night out, great food and drinks, we had 10 oz rib eye steak and a perfectly prepared piece of hake, (had to congratulate the chef personally on that one). Loads of the latest slots and table games, and very polite and attentive staff. Great location, we arrived via metro.
The hotel is located in a prime location and highly accessible from the public transport. The staff is friendly and cooperative and their service was always quick. I would definitely choose to stay at Hyatt next time I am in Birmingham.
Also we forgot a laptop charger and called to see if we can go collect it ,and the lady Edimburgo slots who answered said she will return the call in 10 minutes but it turned to be the opposite,she didn’t even call back for feedback if they had found it or not .
Worst branch of Genting I have ever visiting. The staff members are very rode and not at all welcoming. Seems they do not want the guests to play at all and just want to sit idol.
